The answer is wrong (incorrect sentence). There's no verb and no subject in this sentence. "a box" in this sentence can we called as the object of preposition, and the object of the preposition is not the subject.
So, to get the correct sentence, we can change this sentence with additionally the subject and the verb.
Subject : Anny
Verb : Find
It would be like this : Anny finds a box on the top shelf of the cabinet in the hallway of the house. ( I change it to the present tense)

No. 9. The plane from New York circling the airport.
The answer is Wrong (incorrect sentence).
There's a subject and a verb in this sentence, but there's no the prepositional phrase that come before the verb.
The subject is "the plane" (with the underline) and the verb is "circling" (with the underline and italic). But the sentence is incorrect. We should notice the "circling". The "circling" can not stand alone in this sentence, then we should add the auxiliary verbs to complete the sentence. The auxiliary verbs that match in this sentence is auxiliary 'is'. With additionally the auxiliary verbs 'is', this sentence become present continuous tense.
And this is the complete/the correct sentence.
The plane from New York is circling the airport. (Present Continuous Tense)
